Will these flowers make it through the winter?

That’s a great question—and one I’ve been hearing a lot lately! While I can’t 100% guarantee survival, I can say that their chances depend greatly on where they’re placed when those cold fronts roll through South Georgia.
Bringing your flowers into a garage or carport can help protect them from harsh winds. If a porch is more convenient, you can cover them with a bucket, thick trash bag, tarp, or even a bedsheet. These simple steps can make a big difference and increase their chances of blooming again in the spring.
If you’d like a list of seasonal flowers we currently have in stock that are more cold-hardy, feel free to reach out. Most of them are listed on our Perennials & Annuals page.
